Through The Storm

Though the winds will blow

And the lightening will strike

Dark clouds, turning day into night

Sending torrential rains of sadness and strife

Nothing is ever easy on this Earth

This life

The waters will rise

The earth will shake

The Heavens will send fire, from its awesome gates

Testing our very faith, testing our love’s timeless grace

Hold my hand tight

Keep me in your sight

I know you will keep me safe

I will not be afraid

You will save me from the rain

Pulling both of us in from the storm

Where our love will keep us warm

Temptations will arise

Love’s foundation will quake

The Gods in Heaven, will test our embrace

Testing our very faith, testing our love’s fate

Though the winds will blow

And the lightening will strike

Dark clouds, turning day into night

Sending torrential rains of sadness and strife

We Know:

Nothing is ever easy on this Earth

This life

This love

So hold my hand tight

Keep me in your sight

I know you will keep me safe

I will not be afraid

You will save me from the rain

Pulling both of us in from the storm

Where our love will keep us warm

Keep us warm through the lonely storm

Never let me go, Never let me go

Simple Sand

Can you release these doubts, these fears?

Can you let me dry all your needless tears?

This is not like before

Honey

This love is real

Its in the cosmos

Tied to a Karmic Wheel

This love is the future not the past

So calm your fears it was built to last

Soul mates we will remain, hand and hand

I will never leave you

This love was not built on simple sand

Can you forget the heartbreak, the pain, the past?

Can you let me show you a love that was built to last?

This is not like before

Honey

I am here to stay

It was written by the stars

In stone not clay

This love transcends space and time

It is written in the constellations’ quiet rhyme

Soul mates we will remain, hand and hand

I will never leave you

This love was not built on simple sand

So hold my hand

Honey

This love was not built on simple sand

This love was not built on simple sand

Lives

Life after life,

You have been

With me

(My Dear)

Knowing this,

I have never felt

Any fear.

The poem “Lives” was inspired by the belief in reincarnation by the various world religious and spiritual systems including Judaism, Kabbalah, Buddhism, Hinduism, and ancient culture including the ancient Egyptians. The belief in soul mates also inspired this poem deeply, knowing there someone out there for everyone that feels like coming home. And they are waiting for you to find them, which in many cases is almost impossibility but the journey is worth it.

Yesterdays

My sorrow grows with each passing day

I set here in the long darkness and pray

Longing for the light that is no longer here

Longing for the someone I used to know

I loved her so

I walk alone in this lonely world

In this awful haze of nightmares

Lost in this strange place

Questioning the reasons why

Why did you have to leave me alone?

Why did you die?

I pray each and everyday

Asking the Gods above for you

Pleading for your return

Wanting you to say

I loved you in Heaven’s Gates

And on earth with grace

But you are gone from this lifetime

Gone from me and this place

The Gods are not listening to my prayers

Leaving me in this time

In this space

Please look for me in this darkness

I call out to you, just listen

Through this sorrow and madness

To what I want, what I need

Our paths have crossed many times

With many lives

A thousand years of yesterdays

I pray each and everyday

Asking the Gods above for you

Looking forward to the next life

So I can say

I loved you in Heaven’s Gates

And on earth with grace

Our paths have crossed many times

With many lives

A thousand years of yesterdays

A thousand years of yesterdays

Missing

What are you doing?

When the fall winds begin to blow

The leaves turning to red and gold

When summer is coming to an end

With a chill, my fever begins

What are you doing?

When the winter snow finally begins to fall

The nights so dark and so cold

I listen to the wolves’ haunting mating call

Waiting for my ice covered heart, to thaw

What are you doing?

When spring brings flowers and April rain showers

When the world starts anew

Lovers walking hand and hand

I’m still missing you

What are you doing?

When the summer’s sun is warm and aglow

The days so long, nights of darkness and alone

I listen to the bluebird’s song, my heart breaks

And the feeling of missing you grows

What are you doing?

When I’m missing you so?

Free Falling

Our world goes around

Like a carousel

Forever spinning

Around and around

With no beginning

With no ending

Time transcending

Falling…

Falling…

Breathless into space

In this Love’s embrace

We are surrounded

In its awesome embrace

Free falling…

Through space

Like the stars in the sky

Constellations older than time

Our love

Souls in entwined

Will never die

So fly with me

Over mountains

Lands and sea

Night and day

Just be with me

Through space and time

Follow me

Falling…

Falling…

Breathless in each others arms

We are surrounded

In this Love’s embrace

In its awesome grace

With no beginning

With no ending

Time transcending

Falling…

Falling…

Free falling…

Through space

The Camaro Song

My bags are already packed

Setting in the backseat of my Camaro

My decision has been made

Escaping you is in my bone marrow

I am leaving this sorrow and pain

I just want to be freed

Leaving this sick destructive love

Before I bleed

Before you drive me totally insane

With this infection you call love

Pulling me down into your pain

Pulling me down to suffocate

I want to be free

Free to breathe the fresh air

I want to be me

You will scream when I walk out that door

Running after the life that yourself destroyed

This life once we both adored

Now only a memory of scorn

Pulling at my clothes

Blocking my way

Crying out my name

Begging me to stay

Remaining with you and all this pain

Pleading for that passion we once shared

Now full of suspicions and lies

A prison of jealousy you call love

Unnatural ties

I want to be free

Free to breathe the fresh air

I want to be me

You will never be satisfied

Jealousy consuming you

Until you take both our lives

Killing us in your suicide

I cannot stand here listening to your pain

I cannot stand hearing your name

My bags are already packed

Setting in the backseat of my Camaro

My decision has been made

Escaping you is in my bone marrow

I want to be free

Free to breathe the fresh air

I want to be me
